When it comes to reliable performance for your website or e-mail, nothing beats a dedicated server. Total control over every aspect of that server comes with a hefty price tag though, usually starting at $100 a month and easily exceeding $300 a month.
Shared hosting (free to $30/month) is a great alternative, but many who rely on their internet presence for day to day tasks, like e-mail or a web application, find that over time shared hosting just does not provide the quality of service needed.

Matt Hiltner, president of Olivejar, was recently interviewed in Certification Magazine for a “day in the life of a network administrator” spot as well as his view on certifications.
At the age of 10, Matt Hiltner took on his first IT job as one of the “computer boys” in Mrs. Turek’s sixth-grade class. Little did he know that this foray into technology would ultimately shape his future. It just took a while to get there.
